Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Pallet & Crate Builder to join our team full-time. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing pallets and custom crates used to package and ship our products safely to customers. You'll play a key role in making sure every order leaves our facility secure, protected, and ready for delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, and repair wooden pallets and crates to specified dimensions and quality standards
• Read and follow work orders, packaging specs, and build instructions
• Operate power tools including nail guns, saws, and drills safely and efficiently
• Use hand tools such as hammers, staple guns, and measuring tape
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials and finished units
• Inspect completed pallets and crates for structural integrity before use
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Communicate with shipping and production teams to meet daily output goals
• Follow all workplace safety policies and PPE requirements

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or carpentry/woodworking environment preferred
• Comfortable using power tools, hand tools, and material handling equipment
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to read basic work orders and measurements
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with ease of movement in a fast-paced environment.
• Engage in repetitive motion, clutch, lift, grab, bend, stoop, push, and pull without difficulties.
• Stand on feet during work shift and effectively communicate issues.
