Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Facility Maintenance Assistant to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and facilities. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, can manage multiple tasks, and has a solid understanding of facility maintenance operations. This role will work directly for the Lead Facility Tech.

Job Responsibilities:

- Assist in performing routine and preventive maintenance on all equipment related to both production and the general facility.
- Troubleshoot and repair minor issues related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the facility, including basic carpentry and painting tasks.
- Help Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Respond to maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Follow established safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Job Requirements:

- Basic knowledge of machinery, electrical, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and contractors.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience in a similar maintenance role is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks related to maintenance activities.
- Comfortable working in various environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, dust).
